TODAY'S JUDAS.

Matthew 26:15-16

English Standard Version (ESV)
15 and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. 16 And from that moment he sought an opportunity to betray him.

Hello everyone,
The practicality of christian living is very easy to be discuss by many but really how many times do we live out the life.
A while ago i almost let down God's standard for just a cup of coffee. My class was really cold and it was a long day at school so i headed  to the coffee machine to get a cup. On getting there , i started counting my coins and then someone offered to buy for me in exchange for something i knew wasn't right.
In me at that moment, i was pissed so i just returned the money immediately and said thank you. This person was surprised and said "You don't like money?", i just smiled and the person said he was just joking but still i said thanks.
Why i am discussing this here is because what came back to my mind at that instance was how often we condemn Judas Iscariot while we ourselves betray Christ daily. Check your heart, just in this week, how many times have you let down the standard of God and for what? This days, we really don't need to seek out opportunities to betray Christ, opportunities(big and small) are seeking us out but WE CAN FLEE. Its all about our choices.
                                 Shalom
